One final Flunk Day!

Each spring the President of Coe College cancels a random day of class. This day is called "Flunk Day," a tradition of the college that, of course, continues to thrive at Coe!! It is an extremely fun, school-wide celebration for all Coe students. We are allowed to take the day off -- free from classes -- and enjoy many different forms of entertainment on the quad (the center lawn of our campus). This year we had a live band, games, prizes, giveaways, blow-up obstacles and even a jacuzzi-style foam party! It was awesome. I could probably write about this year's FD for quite some time, but we all know the saying "a picture speaks 1,000 words," right?!

There is a theme every year; this year it was "life guards." There is a committee of 40+ seniors who help to fund raise for this event, and on the actual day, set up and tear down. We all wear matching costumes and this year we had a lot of fun with our life guarding whistles!!!

To the left is the foam party! There was a DJ and food for everyone still having fun on the quad...all night long!
